| This paper includes a brief overview of the general economic situation (macroeconomic) putting a strong emphasise on the economic reforms that the Government has been undertaking. The paper offer a short description of the macroeconomic situation of the country and the economic reforms in order to consider the development of the country as part of the region, and focus on some of the incentives and obstacles of the co-operation among Balkan countries. It also includes the process of European integration of Albania, mainly seen from the Balkan point of view. |
